Angelenos have faced our fair share of adversity. And though we may be down, we’re anything but out. Introducing the Angeleno Connect Immediate Response Incentive Mastercard, a prepaid debit card that’s here to empower Angelenos and embolden our city.

City-funded contactless prepaid incentive cards

Angeleno Connect Immediate Response Cards are funded solely by the City of Los Angeles, to be used for program-specific purchases.

Prepaid cards with contactless, swipe, and online PIN purchase capability may be used everywhere Debit Mastercard is accepted.

The City of Los Angeles has the right to restrict and/or reclaim funds loaded on the card subject to specific program rules.

Check your card balance and view each card transaction in real-time. Get real-time text notifications of each purchase. Text message and data rates may apply.

How To Use The App

Once your card is shipped, you’ll get two text messages to with instructions to activate your Angeleno Connect Immediate Response Card:

 

  • Link to install the Angeleno Connect IRC app

  • Confirmation code to activate your card for online purchases while you wait for your physical card

COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance Program

The City of Los Angeles, in partnership with the State of California and the federal government, has created the 2021 COVID-19 Emergency Rental Assistance Program (ERAP)  to assist residential renters who have been unable to pay their rent as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. The Los Angeles Housing + Community Investment Department (HCIDLA) is charged with the implementation of the ERAP.
